The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.
Trimontium
Trimontium, an
institutionally-backed alternative asset manager specialising in
flexible capital solutions with $1.5 billion in assets under
management, has appointed Graham Morrison as general counsel.
Morrison is a senior legal professional and strategic advisor with experience leading legal, regulatory, governance, and compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. He has expertise advising on and executing complex cross-border investments and transactions across a range of sectors in public and private markets. Morrison spent 15 years at King Street Capital Management, where he was a managing director in the global legal and investment teams. Prior to King Street, he was a corporate finance lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP in London.
“I am delighted to welcome Graham to Trimontium. We are building a team that combines deep investment expertise with institutional-grade infrastructure from the outset,” Vlado Spasov, founder and CIO, said. “Graham’s appointment is central to that vision. His 15 years at King Street, advising on and executing complex cross-border transactions, brings exactly the calibre of legal and strategic capability that a platform like Trimontium requires.”
Trimontium, which is headquartered in London, has a presence in Luxembourg, and plans to expand to New York. Trimontium Capital Limited is an appointed representative of Capricorn Fund Managers Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, the UK regulator.
Citi Investment Management
Citi
Investment Management (CIM) has appointed Rob Lunn as head of
Portfolio Solutions & Investment Specialists, EMEA, effective 3
August. He will report to Kerry White, head of Citi Investment
Management, Investment Solutions. The appointment was laid
out in a memo seen by this news service and confirmed by a
spokesperson at Citi.
Lunn, who has more than 25 years of industry experience, spent over 20 years at Morgan Stanley, where he served in senior leadership roles in Investment Management (MSIM), including sales country head for the UK, Ireland and South Africa, head of International Global Financial Institutions Coverage, and member of the MSIM's EMEA and Latin America Sales ExCo. During his tenure, he helped expand market presence, grow assets under management, and integrate alternatives and private markets capabilities into MSIM's product platform.
As well as helping to advance the firm’s CIM strategy across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the UK, Lunn will be responsible for driving the growth of managed investments across the region, overseeing portfolio implementation teams and managed investment specialists. He will work closely with the firm’s multi-asset class solutions, discretionary alternatives, and wealth CIO teams, while partnering with senior sales leaders across EMEA and the UK to accelerate net new investment asset growth.
“Rob's leadership experience, industry expertise, and proven track record make him well positioned to lead our CIM efforts across these important markets,” White wrote in the memo. “I am confident he will be a great addition to our team as we continue to strengthen our franchise and enhance our offering for clients.”
