Who’s Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Bowmore Financial Planning, Vanguard, Others

The latest moves and appointments for wealth management roles in the UK, other parts of Europe, the Middle East and select international locations.

Bowmore Financial Planning
Bowmore Financial Planning, an independently-owned business based in London and Bristol, has appointed David Floyd as its new head of private client to strengthen its senior leadership team.

Floyd is joining from Titan Wealth Planning where he helped the business transition from Aspira to Titan while supporting a team of private client IFAs. This involved growing advisory revenue and supporting the integration of new advisors into the firm. He also played a key role in strengthening the firm’s service offering and supported growth of the firms MPS offering. Earlier experience included stints at Aviva Financial Advice, Chase de Vere, NatWest and Barclays. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and fellow of the Personal Finance Society, holding the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning.

Vanguard
Vanguard has appointed Ursula Marchioni (pictured) in the newly-created role of head of multi-asset and advisor solutions, Europe. She will be joining the European leadership team, reporting to Jon Cleborne, head of Europe.

Marchioni’s role will involve overseeing Vanguard’s Model Portfolio Solutions (MPS) function and multi-asset teams, the Advisory Research Centre (ARC), and the Portfolio Analytics & Consulting team.

Marchioni brings experience in multi-asset investing, portfolio solutions, and advisor engagement throughout Europe. Most recently, she was a managing director at BlackRock, where she led Investment and Portfolio Solutions across EMEA. Prior to her role at BlackRock, Marchioni worked at Credit Suisse, Société Générale and KPMG. She holds a degree in physics from the University of Trento.

“Her appointment underscores our commitment to the continued evolution of our multi-asset capabilities,” Jon Cleborne, head of Europe, said. “Ursula will be instrumental in leading our experienced teams, who play a key role in helping European and international clients build better portfolios, address their challenges, and adapt to changing market conditions.”

Fidelity International
Fidelity International, a global asset manager and retirement savings business, has appointed Elisa Prezzavento as director of ETF product strategy and development, based in London.

Prezzavento will be responsible for supporting the development of Fidelity’s ETF product strategy, in particular, expanding the firm’s range of active ETF strategies. Her role will also involve identifying new areas of client demand, developing innovative products, and ensuring that Fidelity’s ETF platform remains competitive in a fast-evolving market.

Prezzavento has international ETF expertise, with lexperience in product innovation, fixed income strategy and index solutions in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) markets. She is joining from State Street Investment Management, where she most recently led EMEA fixed income product innovation, having previously held senior ETF product development and strategy roles spanning EMEA and APAC. Prior to this, Elisa spent nearly 14 years at ICE Data Indices.
